Medical students in Oyo Have gone online to lament after the Institution lost accreditation for medicine and surgery.



Many of the student there say they have been in school for 8 years, for a simple course that could be completely in 6 years, took to their various social media platforms to lament their heartbreak after the national Universities commission denied Accreditation status to Uniuyo's medicine and surgery Programme.
A student who was said to have spoken to the LIB on the condition of anonymity revealed that the implication of this for all the medical student.
The student said: Students will be unable to write professional exams, hence they cannot graduate.
"They will remian students. However they will not be able to progress level to level due to not writing professional exams. this is a stagnation for students pending when the accreditaion is restored."
